Firemen on this board are unreal. They're the most represented porfession in the city, I'd guess, and they just whine and cry more than anyone. It takes all sorts of bureaucracy to alter fire funding to lay off folks. It takes one bad day for someone in the private sector to get fired.
All over the US the govt workers packages are being scrutinized. Most come up more secure and overrall favorable to private sector. And yet they seemingly have little appreciation for what they have and what the common taxpayers are going through. There seems to be a sense of entitlement.
