Performance work is the key phrase there. Most dealers don't do performance work, they do maintenance/repair work....don't know that I would trust the dealer there to do anything beyond an oil change. Most performance shops that develop a stellar reputation do so because they do something that others don't, so others go to great means to have work done by them. A dealer is usually the last place where you would want to take a car for that kind of work, most technicians in those shops are by the book people and that is all they know.
Bob Dumont was always the guy to have Porsche work done in town. Norwood Performance in Dallas is one of the "go to guys" in the country for Ferrari work.
