I just found this forum and I have had fun reading all the posts of the southside memories. I'm a southside kid. Grew up by Woodson Park. Went to Garfield Elementary, Roosevelt Jr High and graduated from Capitol Hill in 1970. They all bring back a lot of memories. Generals64, I it was you that I read somewhere where you worked at T G & Y at the Airline Shopping center. When I was much younger I use to walk to the Airline Shopping center on Saturday, go to the movies and afterward stop at the T G & Y. My mother worked at the Humpty's. That's been a long time ago. HAHAHA
