Gotcha! lol

Went to see OKC Philharmonic's the music of John Williams and had a blast. The music was great, the symphony right on and the guest artist Mike Eldred was excellent, what a voice.

Man, it just brought back so many memories. Do you remember the first time you saw the opening scene of Star Wars, or how you felt watching E. T., or Superman, or Raiders of the Lost Ark, or Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind? Is it that they don't make movies like they used to, or that we don't have those teenage hormones pulsing through us like then? lol Anyway, it was lots of fun, especially when they did part of the theme of Jaws and the shark fin cut across the screen on stage.

The next OKC Philharmonic performance is Two Master Concertos, Saturday, April 9, at 8PM.. Violinist Pinchas Zukerman and Maestro Joel Levine join forces to bring to Oklahoma City audiences Bartok’s acclaimed Concerto for Orchestra and Beethoven’s Violin Concerto. Zukerman is equally respected as a violinist, violist, conductor, pedagogue and chamber musician -- violinist Pinchas Zukerman is a master of our time.
