How about Coot's Convenience and Meat (underage Beer) and the Hickory House next to Coits, Hogans restaurant at Virginia and Main. Stereo City and the FOUR track players. I still have some plus the tapes. Yount's Super Marker and Hollie's Variety Store. Rancho drug and the barber shop at the south end. Massey's auto accessories still operating. V&H Muffler, Sonny the owner died and left it to the midget Billy Jack who is now dead. Griff's Hamburger's, 1st 15 cent burgers in town. Zorro Taco on S. Western and the Tastee Freeze on 44th between RAncho and Blackwelder later to become Los Taco's who since moved. Potters drive-In come as you are - dine in your car. Joe Bass owner of Little Joe's boot shop now deceased but owned by another little Joe not related, which is next door to the old Rodeo Theater. How about the AGnew Theater and Agnew Skating Rink. First location of Moore's cycle's selling Mustang's and Cushman Eagles, first at Linwood and Blackwelder, then south robinson and finally west main. Sussy's mobile pizza wagon. Beverly's chicken in the rough on 23rd and classen. The Daily Oklahoman paper drops, one on Barnes just east of Penn 44 Bowling Alley, another at s.w 37th on robinson. Luttrell's barber shop, george, carroll potter, plase (plaz) Goode, and Wallace the shoe shine man. Cattlemen's Drive in on exchange, later a Bar-B-Q joint. The Rancher's Daughter and the Sugar Shack in Bixler's not exactly south though. Bob DEnnis and his Dennis donuts "The Big Swing is to Dennis Donuts." Cafeteria/cafe @ Downtown air park. Remembe the Sunset Club across the street from the air park, it was the Sunset club but previously in the 40's it was the Corn Crib. Shipman's cafe at reno and blackwelder and 10th and S. robinson. Balcony where the restrooms were at the Capitol Theater overlooking s. robinson. The Red Penny Bar is still here. Mickey's last chance saloon on Newcastle road. The Charter Club, Black Angus and Exchange Lounge not to forget the Tequila Club in Packin' Town. Webers Root beer on Penn just north of 10th, woops getting north again. The walk thru alley at the south end of TG&Y in reding shopping center. I could go on and on and on but your probably bored to death by now. Some of you might remember these places!!
