Surprised I haven't seen anyone post this yet, hope I didn't miss an already existing thread.

The OSU medical center downtown Tulsa is undergoing a huge transformation. For reference: Here's what the site looked like before construction started: (Surface Lots Galore). A new 273K sq foot 58-bed VA hospital replaces the old state office buildings, and a new 100k SF 60-70 bed Psych hospital is being built. A 450-car parking garage is also being built. The original investment is about $210 million, but that figure is several years old.

Taken today: Building on the right is the Psych Hospital. The glass buildings are the VA hospital.

Along with the VA/Psych hospital, OSU Med is starting a serious building expansion project.

OSU Med has built the new parking garage on the SE corner of the property. They have torn down an old building and started dirt works on the MOB building - an expansion of the OSU Medical Center. Allegedly this is a 170mm investment. This entire project will be a tremendous boost to west downtown, and a good thing for Tulsa in general. It will greatly benefit Tulsa to have a more fleshed out medical district. For those interested, here's a slide deck with some more detail (it is quite old at this point). https://medicine.okstate.edu/site-fi...ly_21_2020.pdf
