Here are some plans for the new $8 million surgical hospital to be built between Flix Brewhouse and Chicken & Pickle at The Half (Britton and Broadway Ext.).

The proposed building is a single-story medical hospital with a partial second floor
that will house administrative offices. The hospital is a majority-locally owned
facility that will provide both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as minor
emergency services.

The hospital will have 7 single-occupant inpatient rooms, which includes an isolation
room for infectious disease control. The project incorporates 3 surgical suites and
one pain management treatment room, with associated pre-and post-op preparatory
and recovery areas. Inpatient rooms are on the east side of the building, with the
main patient entrance on the northwest, and emergency entrance to the west.

The facility will perform primarily elective surgeries, the majority being orthopedic,
plastics, and ear, nose and throat procedures as well as pain management and spine surgery. The building is open 24 hours for staff and inpatients/ family members.

The exterior of the project will be constructed of architectural precast concrete, with
blue tinted glazing and aluminum panels. Parking for the project will surround the
perimeter of the building, with staff parking in the back-southeast corner, adjacent to
the medical staff lounge and dressing rooms.

Circulation for traffic and fire department access is available on all sides of the
building. The building will be fully sprinkled and designed in accordance with the
NFPA Life Safety Code, as well as the 2018 Federal Guidelines for Hospital
Construction, and all Oklahoma State Health Department criteria.

The first floor of the building is 32,294 SF, and the second floor is 4442 SF, for a total
area of 36,736 gross SF.
