What's new on the horizon for projects & developments that will collectively impact our city:
The Oklahoma City Streetcar will consist of 4.9 miles of track; it will operate two lines totaling 6.9 miles.
A $1 per ride fare has been proposed by consultants, with passes that discount regular use.
December 2018 is the target month for the streetcar operational opening.
The recently completed $5 million streetcar maintenance facility at SW 7 Street & Hudson Avenue will be the home base for maintenance, upkeep & repairs.
Streetcars will run on the 4.9-mile D Line traversing the central business district, linking Midtown and Bricktown. A 2-mile Bricktown loop will offer greater frequency in the entertainment district.
