And I know to most that sounds like a really hefty price for a salad bar but....... It's an epic salad bar like none you have probably ever experienced before...... Unless you just frequent a lot of places that have lobster bisque on their salad bar.

Lots of cured meats, cheeses, roasted and pickled vegetables, some hot items like the bisque, black beans, potatoes.... I want to say it has something like 50 items on it.

It's been awhile since I've been, but they had a ton of sushi options when I went as well.

I must say, that place has the most heavenly smell.

It draws you in like a siren song.

Oh yeah and for me it's those Brazilian Sausages.... I love sausage and these are amazing.... The braised beef ribs are pretty incredible too.

Since you are our resident meat expert, can you provide a full breakdown on all the various meat options and your opinions of them?

Need to start mapping a plan of attack.

Here ya go... Not in any particular order. Just the order I cut and pasted them from the website.... lol

    Filet Mignon
If you prefer lean this is the cut for you. If you like some fat move on to the next option.

    Filet Mignon Wrapped in Bacon
This is the option for the filet mignon I prefer if I go with the fillet. I usually try at least a piece of it.

    Braised Beef Ribs
Don't let these pass by your table. Tackle the gaucho if you have to but don't let him get away with out getting some!

    Lamb Chops
Not a fan of lamb. have tried it at both Fogo de Chao and TdB and did not like it. If you like lamb I'm sure this is a solid option for it though.

    Pork Ribs
Are ok but are usually cooked a little too fall off the bone and mushy for me.... Stick with the beef ribs.

    Brazilian Picanha
This is the featured meat of the house. It's a prime top sirloin cap. I'm not a fan of sirloin at all so I usually grab a slice of the option below this and save room for other meats.

    Garlic Picanha
This is the option I will usually get at least a slice of because I love garlic.

    Brazilian Sausage
This is probably my favorite item. They are a juicy, coarsely ground, seasoned perfectly, sausage. I always eat WAY too many of them.

    Leg of Lamb
Once again I don't care for lamb but if you do I'm sure this is a good option...... Also if you have never tried lamb. This is a great way to break out of your shell and try it. If you don't like it you don't have to finish it and you're not walking out of this place hungry.

    Chicken Breast Wrapped in Bacon
These can be a little dry but are tasty. I usually pass them by to save room for beef and sausages though and I prefer the next chicken option more.

    Parmesan Drumettes
I like drummettes and I like parmesan. So if I go with chicken this is usually my choice.

    Parmesan-Crusted Pork Loin
Usually a little on the lean side for me but still a tasty option. I'll usually get at least one slice of it.

    Flank Steak
Probably my third favorite cut after the sausages and beef ribs. It's juicy and tender and seasoned simply with salt.

    Herb-Marinated Pork Loin
Like the Parmesan Pork Loin this cut tends to be very lean. I prefer the parmesan version to this one.

    Brazilian Alcatra
This is another version of the top sirloin. Similar to the picahna from what I have found. I'm actually not familiar with it and don't remember ever having it offered to me.

    Chicken Sausage
Another option I have never been offered at the Addison or Ft Worth locations.

Is it the same setup as a fogo de chao where they walk around and serve you or do you order off a menu?

Same... They do have a bar menu... Do not know if you have to set at the bar to order from it.... My wife had bariatric surgery last year and has sent them an email asking if they have other options because $42.90 is a lot to spend for her to eat 3 bites... I'll report back when she gets an answer.

    Here is the bar menu:

    BAR MENU
Chicken breast, Garlic Sirloin and Sausage (2 pieces each)
    $9.50

Chicken breast, Garlic Sirloin and Filet with Bacon (2 pieces each)
    $12.50

    Bowl of House-Made Lobster Bisque
    $9.50

Antipasto Platter: Imported Cheeses, Charcuterie, Olives and Cornichon
    $9.50

Meat platters served with chimichurri sauce. Chicken breast available with or without bacon. All items served with basket of cheese bread.

Oh and as an addendum to my meat list above....

Some times they walk around with grilled pineapple... Get a slice of it... It goes great with the grilled bananas they serve as a family style side item at the table.

Not a problem.... The further away you park the more appetite your build up on the way in and the more calories you burn on the way out.

That's interesting. I signed up for email alerts as soon as I found out they were coming to OKC and never received that coupon.

It doesn't have any kind of identifier on it anywhere. Just an expiration date. Shoot me a PM with your email address and I'll hook you up.

How long out is the expiration date? I would like to go there with my husband for our anniversary next month.

I didn't think TdB would ever have grilled pineapple. If this is true, not sure what to say.

I've had it every time I've been to the Addison location.

I thought the only places that offered it in the DAllas area was Rafains. I know fogo normally doesn't, and swore TdB didn't. Smaller place, estilio gaucho, also did but charged extra for it.
