PARK(ing) Day 2014

On Friday, September 19th ten districts throughout Oklahoma City will participate in PARK(ing) Day 2014. PARK(ing) Day is an annual, worldwide event where artists, designers, and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks.

These temporary parks, called “parklets”, will pop-up across Central and Northwest Oklahoma City. These districts and business will host a combined 22 different parklets! We’re also happy to announce that our friends in Guthrie, Oklahoma will be installing a parklet as well. The parklets will be located in front of or at the following locations:
