OTL -- NCAA investigating Johnny Manziel for profiting from autographs - ESPN
You aren't suppose to accept money for autographs while you are in college. Looks like Manziel might have broken a few rules.

Lol
If this is true, he isn't very bright.
It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't take anything for them but his "handler" did. It isn't like he needs the money with the family oil and car dealership money they have. He is just a spoiled rich kid headed for a train wreck with parents who helped create the monster.
He has turned into a giant douche in such a short period of time
This is divine retribution for having to sit next to the most obnoxious TAMU fans at a wedding reception this Saturday. Manziel actually came up in the conversation, and their response was "Leave Johnny alone! Weren't you 20 at one point?" Yes, I was, and I like to think I was not an arrogant prick who showed my behind on social media and then get mad when I was called on it.
Reading the Wright Thompson story with his parents explained everything. The apple definitely did not fall far from the tree. They blame TAMU, Kevin Sumlin, the NCAA, Drake, and everyone else for their son's actions and fail to take any responsibility for the douche they made.
You have to know that the NFL is watching all of this closely. They will absolutely take all of this into consideration when evaluating him and he is costing himself big bucks.
I like CBS's take: If report is true, Johnny Football should pack it up and head to Canada - CBSSports.com
This kid just comes from an entitled life, parents that don't know how to parent, and is about to get a good dose of being out in the "real world". I would find it entertaining if the Heisman committee took their trophy back if this kid continues in their downward spiral. If the report is true ...
Then get out, Johnny Manziel. Don't let the door hit you on your way out of College Station, which you've already told us via Twitter that you "can't wait" to put it in your rear view. Be done with Texas A&M and the NCAA, the overbearing institutions that are depleting your joy and denying you your rightly earned payday. So says your own father.
If the report is true ...
Stop fooling around with college football. Go to Canada and solve two of the issues that pass for problems in the charmed life of Johnny Football:
Depending on how long the NCAA will take, when does TAMU bench him to avoid getting games vacated this year if he participates in them and is ruled inel?
Maybe it's a pledge or something. TAMU is weird.
I'm going to put a bizarre spin on this.
JM has already said he'd like to "get out" of College Station....he's acting like a nutball...
Supposing he's playing everyone for an idiot and knows full well that the easiest way of of A&M is to leave an easy-to-follow trail of "illegal" money from something has impossible to overlook as an autograph signing? No more pressure, no more nonsense, when the NCAA comes knocking he says, "Yup, I sure did it, and here's my checking account with the deposit." NCAA declares him ineligible and he moves on with his life to whatever thing to which he thinks he's entitled or pre-funded or whatever via his parents.
Interersting article on how hard it could be for the NCAA to actually prove anything that would warrant sanctions.
Johnny Manziel under investigation, but big burden on NCAA to prove it - College Football News | FOX Sports on MSN
With the way he has been talking about the university and his behavior...I say the front line just keep parting the waters for the first half dozen snaps in their first game and see if he catches on. Getting planted into the ground a few times would probably do the kid some good.
He's an amazing football player. It's too bad his personality and behavior can't match his sports skills.
Maybe this is why a freshman had never won the Heisman before, and probably won't again.
