Right across from Ronald Reagan Elementary, there was an occupied house on a field that was torn down one day about a month ago. It was almost overnight, one day the house was there, the next it was gone along with the people. Recently I saw some utility crews and a bit of dirt being shuffled around there.

I've been trying to figure it out - anyone know what's going on?

Not sure. With that house cleared out, perhaps someone has that plot and the adjoining land to the north and west. If so, there is adequate room to lay in numerous duplexes (basically recreate the duplex setup which lines Heatherfield Lane immediately south of there.) Total guess on my part, but with the school right across the way, I could see it making sense to work it up in that fashion.
