Bill Clinton in Oklahoma City 1980's?

I saw Bill Clinton sometime between 1978 and 1990 at what I think was a "Jefferson-Jackson" dinner at the Sheraton Century Center or maybe the Skirvin. If it wasn't a JJ dinner, It was a dinner of some kind and speeches and he had the headliner speech and spoke about education. I remember very little except his speech and walking out telling my wife that man will be president one day. Does anyone remember this occasion? I would love to remember when and where it was.

Although the Super Tuesday reference has me thinking this was early '92.
