They aren't wanting to put in 100% every week and it is going to bite them in the ass sooner or later. If we just go back the Coaches poll for this week, we still have #7, #10, #21, and #25 to get through. Kansas should be okay. Tech is always a tricky one. Baylor is obviously going to be harder than normal. Iowa State should be another safe one. Either way, we've faced the strongest defense statistically for the year in Florida State...but we have a lot stronger offenses on the road ahead.
Yeah, OSU fell victim to 1) not player and 2) Wisconsin smothering Nebraska. As far as Bama/Florida. Yeah they were down early, but Florida isn't Ball State. OU was just completely flat for the first quarter plus some of the 2nd. If we were playing Florida, we would have been down a couple touchdowns playing like that. The majority of the teams remaining on the schedule aren't going to give us a ramp up time during the game. If they want the Big 12 title again and attempt to compete for the BCS title, they need to be willing to play all 4 quarters. I'm just glad they didn't do the typical prevent defense and give Ball State a couple easy touchdowns late.
