Hartford insurance

I asked for a quote on car insurance from Hartford, and they totally buried the company I have used for over 15 years.

Has anyone had experience with Hartford? If so, what were they like?

Hartford was my maternity Short Term Disability insurance this year. They were great to work with! I also have a few friends that work there. Not sure about the car insurance though....

Look online for insurance ratings - they are rated based on different criteria and it gives you a good idea of how they respond to clients and claims. Insurance Commission is where I would start my search.
