Wow! 60k lost jobs in Phoenix? That seems like a bunch. Also, losing 33k in Tampa-St. Pete is probably no picnic. Some of the other hard hit cities are really big, so they are better cushioned for the blow.

Also, Kansas City losing 11,000 jobs seems like a lot for a city of its size.

What would it be like in OKC if we had a net loss of 11,000 jobs in one year?

Not surprising about Phoenix, and Tuscon lost 16K jobs and its slightly bigger than Tulsa, so it seems that whole region of the country is getting slammed.

Its shocking to see Atlanta lose nearly as many jobs as Detroit. That area as always been one of the top job creators since the 1970's. I will say my family spent the hoidays with relatives from that area and they told me the local economy over there is abysmal.

I guess these figure make you glad to live in OKC.

Yeah, not really suprising. Many of the big gainers are the oil and gas regions of the US.
