Far North 327 Dean A McGee

This 6,500 SF building on the NE corner of McGee and Hudson was built in 1907 and is receiving a minor remodel.

Currently home to Thai Kitchen which will stay; remodeled space will be for Gold Fang Gallery, a combination of art gallery and tattoo parlor.

nice. This building has good bones and has needed some TLC for a long time.

Thai Kitchen has pretty good food, hopefully this gets rid of some of the literal holes in the walls.

I love that Thai restaurant. Glad it's staying. Hope they don't change anything about it. Holes in the walls included.

I've heard that this is the oldest building in OKC. Is this true?

It has to be close, as it was built the same year as statehood.

Mount Saint Mary's highschool is older I believe. https://www.mountstmary.org/page.cfm?p=862
"When fire destroyed the school in 1901, the Sisters decided to relocate to Oklahoma City on donated land on a hill just south of downtown Oklahoma City, overlooking what is now known as the Oklahoma River. The cornerstone was laid on December 12, 1903." It's great the renovations and success of the school recently to keep this great building around especially after the fire in 09 I believe.

Here are a few more examples of older buildings: St. Joseph's Old Cathedral, one block north, was built in 1903; the old Epworth Church was built in 1903 as well; the Berry Law Firm building at NW 19th and Classen was built in 1906. Also, there are several houses in Heritage Hills and Mesta Park built prior to 1907.

  10. Default Tattoo Parlor Coming to 402 N. Hudson?

There has been development to this building behind the Thai Restaurant for some time now. I heard the other day it's going to be a tattoo parlor - can anyone confirm? Looks like a nice buildout.

Very cool. That's directly across the street from my office. I like what they've done to that building.

Yes, it's going to be a shop owned by Renee Little. She currently has space at Beauty From Pain next to Cuppies and Joe on 23rd.
