    City Street Update

    Oklahoma City Street Crews reported the following weather relate issues as of 9 a.m. on May 9.

    Streets closed due to High Water
    SW 149th St from May Ave to Pennsylvania Ave
    SW 34th St from Harvey Ave to Walker Ave
    Ann Arbor Ave from Reno Ave to NW 4th St
    Morgan Rd from Reno Ave to NW 10th St
    1600 NE 51st St
    12300 N Westminster Rd (at Hefner Rd & Westminster Rd and at NE 122nd & Post Rd)

    The Following Streets are Now Open
    SW 44th St from Sara Rd to Mustang Rd
    Sara Rd from SW 15th St to SW 29th St
    SE 40th St from Shields Blvd to Stiles Ave


    Damaged Areas
    Western Ave from NW 8th St to NW 9th St - Building collapse
    SE 17th St from Central Ave to Walnut Ave - Bridge approach washed out
    SE 59th St from Walker Ave to Santa Fe Ave - Construction
    SW 29th St from Sara Rd to Mustang Rd - Road washed out
    SW Grand Blvd at Brock Dr (east bound traffic) - Bridge approach washed out

    Thanks for posting, Keith. How often do they update the list?

    Some of those intersections are pretty busy. Seems like the city would make it a priority to keep them from flooding.

    Then again, it may not be worth it, given how rarely we see this kind of rain.
