Yeah don't forget to support the Women's teams at the Big 12 Tournaments this week. The support of the women's teams will depend if we get this tournament back again. It's a huge $40+ million dollar impact on our local economy and brings in about 200,000 people for the events.

The thread says support your "OKC" womens' teams. OKC lightening is donating the money from their scrimmage and they donate to many other community projects as well. The Tornado Alley Rollergirls donate procedes from every event that they have to Oklahoma charities as well. None of these women get paid to do what they do. They do it for the love of the sport and rallying their communities. Together they make a difference to many local charities that wouldn't happen without the support of each other and the fans who come to see them. They donate their time and talent on the rink and field as well as their talents away from the sports.
The Big 12 is great for the economy of OKC, and I'm sure there is already a thread about it some where. This thread is about OKC women.
Thank you to all of you who do support them.
