Woman exits vehicle, spurs traffic delay

The southbound lanes of Broadway Extension were closed for a time Tuesday night at NW 63 after a woman jumped from a moving vehicle, officials said.
The woman -- whose name was not released -- was taken to Integris Baptist Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, an official said.
About 7 p.m., a man and the injured woman were in a car heading south on the highway when they began arguing, a police spokeswoman said. The woman apparently leaped from the vehicle in a construction zone.
Police are investigating the incident as an accident because the woman did not indicate she was pushed from the vehicle, the spokeswoman said.
A witness said southbound vehicles didn't move for at least half an hour.
