91fm selling out to national syndication

I've been meaning to post this for a month or so now I just kept forgetting. Yes, sad news the listener supported Christian station 90.9fm has sadly sold its station to a national Christian syndication after 20+ years of fresh programming. Not only from a Christian format but they also played positive music and were the only local radio station to play local bands and have live DJ dance music on the weekends. They will be very missed!!! We were one of only a few cities in the country with a station so progressive as this. You've got about a week left before it switches ownership and formats.

I think this sucks. But, they've considered selling out in the past.

Any reason they gave for selling out?

Not sure. I'll have to check with my inside sources and get back with you. They've kept it pretty hush hush.
