    Asian District Mochinut

Now open at 2431 N. Classen in the Asian District, Mochinut features mochi donuts made from rice flour which gives them a different texture; more chewy and stretchy.

Similar to Momocha which opened earlier this year in Midtown.

Mochinut also offers Korean rice flour hotdogs and mozzarella on a stick as well as soft-serve ice cream and bubble tea drinks.

They are currently in the soft opening phase and are open 11 AM to 5 PM. Starting with their grand opening 12/21, hours will be 11 AM to 9 PM daily.

Directly next door, Tiger Sugar will also be opening soon.

this is great. Love that OKC is seeing significant investment from national/international Asian businesses and restaurants in the district.

Now, we need to focus on filling those ugly fields and parking lots with multi-level housing, retail on the bottom. Very surprised housing is such a slow endevor given the student population nearby and the fact the university doesn't really have a lot of structured housing options.

I went to check it out on Sunday and the line was very long and the people running it seemed a little overwhelmed. Everything was delicious, but I definitely had a sugar high the rest of the day. I had the Crunchy Cereal Korean Corn dog with some sweet and sour sauce. Pretty darn tasty.
