DA Prater Drops Criminal Charges Against Deaf Driver (Pearl Pearson) for Resisting

Definitely followed this case closely and even did some work on it directly.

There are different opinions on this case, but IMO Mr. Pearson was a victim of OHP and DA Prater (who wanted to curry favor with them).

A simple misdemeanor resisting arrest charge (that in my opinion should have never been filed) was allowed to drag on for 3 years by DA Prater himself.

The case was only recently dismissed and the excuse DA Prater gives rings very hollow and is yet another lie straight from his mouth.

IMO the case never should have been filed, and once filed, should have been dismissed long ago.
