Dog rescues?
A few weeks back, I posted a thread asking about basset hounds, and I'm interested at this point if anyone has any information about OK-area groups involved in basset hound rescues? As I continue to go down this road, I'm thinking this may be an option to consider very seriously. I've Googled for such a few times and found some breeders charging $500-$1,500 for pups, and that's just not on my radar. But not many bassets show up for rescues, and some of the basset rescue organization links are defunct.
Anyone with info on rescues? Thanks in advance.
