  1. Default Local station sold

KAUT has been sold by Paramount to the New York Times, which already owns KFOR.

Personally, I do not approve of the sale for two reasons. One. I do not believe a company should own more than one station in a given market, and second I like it that Okalhoma City is one of a handfull of cities that has a station owned by the network.

    Any opinions on the sale?

Perhaps they can move Mike Morgan's incessant weather coverage over to KAUT and allow us to watch NBC programming uninterrupted on KFOR.
