For those young enough to ask yourself "who", tell your boss, staff, spouse, etc. that you'll be unavailable for the next hour.
    Then go to: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...y=percy+sledge

    You're welcome.

I honestly thought he was older than 73,
    RIP.

I did too. My folks had several of his 8-tracks in their collection, which I knew well as a youngster in the early 70s. RIP.

He was featured on the Muscle Shoals documentary I recently watched... a lot of great music was recorded at the Fame studio.

At least Michael Bolton is still with us to sing his version of Sledge's timeless classic. For my money, I don't know if it gets any better. . .

No offense Throckmorton, but listening to the original makes me want to punch Michael Bolton in the face.

Let's hope. Mostly I'd just like to punch Michael Bolton in the face, and his post was just a reminder of that.

In my line of work, I'd had occasion to meet many in the field of counseling. If you desire, I can put together a list for you.

Whew! I was beginning to think I was the only one here who's seen Office Space.
