Decent article. Perhaps in the last paragraph the actual location of the establishment might have been mentioned?
23rd Street is, if not a winding road, at least a long one.
(it might not be Perfectly Crusty to assume that the average reader is familiar with the Urban Renaissance in that three block area)

I will say that, the review of the establishment--wherever it is--almost makes me reconsider only going to The Wedge.

I enjoy reading their perspective and the openness they are permitted when they write a review. I believe it is helpful all the way around for them to address both the wow factors and the wart factors they encounter on their outings.

Why not simply reconstruct Pizza 23 into an elusive--non-exclusive--Food Truck and have it wander all the way, up and down, the length and breadth of Highways 66, 81 and 71 (perhaps even Highways 1 and 3) tossing Pizza to the pizza deprived, instead of doing a re-write? Just kidding. Sort of. =)

I hope that Pizza 23 will be served at the Tower Theater Grand Re-Opening,
I'm all for that re-development deal.
Especially for real.

btw: some might suggest that one might lose the "aw" on account of it indicates "awesome" which is rarely attainable. =)

toss some Anchovies onto it--for the Umami effect--and some fresh rosemary then call it done. =)

I think DanKrutka is involved with teaching in some way. and while I spent only two semesters at the front of a classroom, as an adjunct instructor at OSU Tech when it was still in old elementary school building on NW 10, most of my life I've been writing tutorial material.

I remember three very special teachers from my highschool and college days: Smitty (Mr. George Smithpeter), in Beaumont, CA, during 1945, made math come alive and also inspired me to take up photography; Chappie (Mrs. V.F.M.Chappelear) gave me free rein at Classen Highschool during 1947 to become a journalist and encouraged me; Mister Henry H. Herbert, at OU in 1951, taught me to think. I suspect that were I in one of your classrooms, you'd be added to that list.
