Nice to see this happening... I know about some local coffeehouses (RIP Dreaded Bulldog, ahead of its time), but not all of them, doesn't seem to be a listing of them that I can find quickly, so wondering what all is in the OKC metro area that is good. I know of Elemental, Coffee Slingers, Vintage, can't-remember-the-name-but-it's-where-Vintage-used-to-be (not open yet, maybe), but really not many others... Anybody got recommendations?

Bean and leaf I believe its called at the corner of NW 36th and May avenue west of Wendys is a nice drive through option as apposed to starbucks on the opposit corner.. I have also been going to District House on 16th street in the Plaza district just west of Urban Wine works.

Anyone else read the latest edition of Edible OKC? Entire issue is about coffee. Great read.

Ha, picked one up last night and was flipping through it and thought "coffee, coffee, coffee, hmmm, must be the coffee issue", lol... Haven't read it yet, looks very good, and of all the free OKC mags out there now, Edible OKC and Territory are actually about the only ones worth reading.

Saw it today! It is a great expose on how great coffee has come about these parts.

I read this thread a couple of days ago and was thinking I need to pick up the coffee issue of Edible OKC. About an hour later I walked into the dining room and it was sitting there on the table!! I had seen the cover while at Natural Grocers and recognizing it as some kind of food processing equipment, I grabbed the magazine as we were heading in the door and didn't give it another thought. Two days later I discover it's the issue discussed in this thread!
