I was somewhat of a fan back in 2009 but it seems she has been going steadily downhill ever since. For someone who was supposed to be the next Madonna or even the next Beatles, she has now had two albums flop in a row and has had to resort to disgusting shock value in order to try to stay relevant. If there was any doubt whether or not she was in decline, this should put those doubts to rest. This is no longer art or unique self expression, but sick and pathetic in my opinion. I guess she couldn't stand being outdone by Miley Cyrus when it comes to shock value.

I really don't get why she is doing what she is. The newest album isn't bad at all...I actually like it. She was calming down for a bit and then got a little crazy again. Sucks that talent gets looked over for these stupid antics. It's sad but hopefully something finally clicks at some point.

I agree, venture. I think she is extremely talented and no longer really needs her weird stunts as opposed to someone like Taylor Swift, who is marginally talented but very traditional in her approach.
