It's easy to say that there's nothing to do in OKC, but I think that you can only make that claim once you've actually explored everything the city has to offer. I know that we have lots of local media (the gazette, Look at OKC, etc...), but most of that stuff is paid advertising and leaves out the little pockets of coolness that don't make as much money. So I thought I'd start a thread where everyone can post (shamelessly plug) their favorite events, clubs, or activities, regardless of how big or small it is.
Here's some basic info I would suggest:
Name of event
Date, Time, Location
Solid, but not too long-winded of a description
Hopefully no one gets offended, but it might be okay to list the demographic you think would be most interested in it
Here are a few of my favorites:
Live at the Plaza
H&8th Food Truck Festival
Summer Twilight Series at the Myriad Gardens
These are all really great events, but they get so much publicity I won't waste time writing about them.
We Tell Stories OKC
Every 4th Saturday night at the Paramount (Sheridan and Lee in Film Row). If you're into urban neo-soul music, poetry, and some clean comedy, then you'll really like this. Don't let the word "urban" scare you, this is for all people and encourages diversity. At a basic level, it's a coffee house event, but with a live house band, 2 great MCs, strong poetic flow, and always a great concert at the end.

SONIC Summer Movie Nights
Every Wednesday night during the summer. I may be late to the game, but they're showing classic movies on Wednesdays at the Myriad Gardens. Bring your own blanket and drinks. Food trucks will be available during the event.

Cars and Coffee
Honestly I've never been and can never figure out when it is. But it's an informal car show on Memorial and Penn. I have a few friends that go and they always share pictures of some really legit cars. If you organize it or know more about it, feel free to add on!
Some cool suggestions would also be alternative fitness facilities (crossfit, yoga, Beach Body groups, etc...), drive in theaters, car shows, late night options or walkable districts. I feel like food is really easy to find so unless it's really incredible or unique, probably want to leave it out.
