The Lone Ranger (2013)
There was a Making of The Lone Ranger on the CW this afternoon and last night, Armie Hammer was on The Tonight's Show with Jay Leno. I just got on imdb.com to look up Armie cause his first big role he played in was in The Social Network and I wanted to see what else he's been in since. I looked at his bio and trivia and he has direct Oklahoma ties. His mom is from Tulsa and graduated from Oklahoma State University. His grandparents are longtime Tulsa real estate developer Doug Mobley and his wife, Donna and his dad is a member of the board of trustees for Oral Roberts University.
It may all be Tulsa related but the guy has probably spent time within the boundaries of this state for more than at least a year!
I wasn't very interested in this movie when I saw the first preview but after seeing the making of it today, I'm all about it. It comes out in theaters on July 3rd. Other stars include Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, William Fitchner and Barry Pepper. It's directed by Gore Verbinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
