St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown OKC, starting in about... 10 minutes

St. Patrick's Day parade in Oklahoma City is Saturday | News OK

Oops, I'm a little late posting this. Had my head wrapped around the MLP announcement the past few days.

    Get yer green beer

Forgive my choosing McNellie's for the representative picture.
There are many other Irish pubs around town, but I don't want to chase after photos for all of them.

It's even better with a completed Devon Tower.

Nothing great but there was a nice crowd!
Thanks for posting those. Love 'em.

    Here's my two faves:

Look at the blossoms bursting out in the trees! Spring is springing!

I just noticed this in Edmond today as well. It's as though overnight the buds are exploding like a million batches of popcorn.

Does anyone know why the flyer says "no video cameras"?

I suppose that if they mean in the tent area of that parking lot it is a no-record zone, then that could be actually enforceable?

Anyways I was down there Saturday night and the atmosphere was great, unfortunately that is when the cold air and wind started pouring in so it became pretty unpleasant. But the crowds and turnout was really nice to see.

    You guys are GREAT!!!!
Thanks for sharing some images and thoughts about my third favorite "holiday" . . .
(had to "miss it" on account of both my sweet half-Irish wife and i were both "under the weather")

Again: Thanks For The Great Photos!

    Edited to Add:

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rain fall softly on your fields.
    And until we meet again,
    May God hold you
In the hollow of his hand.

    Amen.

That last photo must be really old -- it's in black and white.

That looked like a lot of fun. Spent my St. Patrick's Day weekend with a sinus infection.
