Default Pablano Grill building in Moore

I noticed in the real estate section from Saturdays paper that this building was sold. Mentions a steak/seafood was place going in, no names though.

Sold to Mark S Group Corp for 1.475 million. Anyone familiar with who this is?

On a Norman thread they say they own BWW's so I'm assuming they now own both spots...Can't find anything else on them

More like Saltgrass than Logan's I think.

One of our party had the steak and shrimp and two of us had the small filet. The steaks were very good all around. The shrimp also received a good report. I had Green Beans Almondine for my side and liked it. The other two had baked potatoes and felt they were undercooked. Our fourth member had the Halle's Pecan Crusted Chicken and said it was okay but didn't eat all of it so I think it probably was a little less than okay. I had a small salad that was good and someone else had the strawberry spinach salad and liked it.

We also ordered crab cakes and spinach and artichoke dip. Both were good but I thought the dip was very good. The bread was excellent except we ate all of it and it took them a while to get more. They said it was baked fresh and I believe it.

All in all it was a good experience. I liked my steak better than those at Hollie's but that's a little expensive for a normal lunch rotation for me.

However, I do want to go back and try a couple of other menu items including the sandwiches and especially one called Marcella's Bayou.

The biggest complaint I've heard from those in my party and others who have dined there is the undercooked baked potatoes. And it was obvious that the place was new but I suspect those are worked out.

The inside of the restaurant wasn't drastically changed from the Poblano days. Kind of a western themed redecoration.

This is off topic but a great place just down the street is that Volcano Sushi. I love the Crazy Jalapeno roll and the Crazy Face and the Volcano rolls. Never had deep fried sushi rolls like that. This Bento box for lunch is really a super deal in my opinion. Little gem of a place.

Had my 3rd meal at Bent River Cattle Company and happened to look at the urbanspoon reviews.

The reviews definitely do not come anywhere near my experience with Bent River. Makes me pretty suspicious actually of urbanspoon.

I've had a burger, the Philly, and a steak now. In my opinion the quality of the meat is just flat outstanding and I do not consider the price for this quality to be out of line at all. If someone went there for a cheap meal then they started out wrong. And there are certainly plenty of places around where one can find something cheaper.

Also had very good service the times I've been there.

Obviously my experience only but I'll go back.

I will have to try it soon. Yeah I dont trust urban spoon that much. I was kind of worried about trying fontana italian because of urban spoon, but I tried it and I have been there a couple times since and the food is really good and the service was good as well. I think urban spoon has lots of customer reviews by former employees that just like to bash a place as a way to get back.
