Any chance of new restaraunt opening where the Vista used be?

I always loved sitting in high point and peering over Norman. I know that the building on Peters and Main is filling back up. Has anyone heard about what is going on the top floor?

Its highly unlikely. It will most likely eventually be office space. On the plus side there are two new restaurants coming to downtown Norman - Das Boot Camp, a german restaurant and beer garden and Syrup, a breakfast boutique.

Syrup is where forward foods used to be, between McNellies and Guestroom. and i believe Das Boot Camp will be across the street to the west of Pink Elephant. I haven't heard an opening date for either of these. i look into Syrup almost everyday, and while they have come a long way, they look like the still have quite a ways to go

Very doubtful that there will be a restaurant in the Norman Financial Center/Vista. The 6th floor is owned by the family of the folks that had the Vista Restaurant, and they have auctioned off all the restaurant equipment and are trying to sell the floor. The rest of the building is now fully occupied. Only the 6th floor is left. Das Boot Camp is going into the old Marquis Furniture spot I believe. Corner of Main and Crawford. NW Corner.

No, it will be offices. In fact, the offices on the top floor was recently listed for sale for around $700,000.
