Default Construction starting at NW 10th & Yukon Parkway

Construction has started on the NW corner of NW 10th and Yukon Parkway.

Anyone know what this is going to be? Is this the rumored Walmart (lot seems small but may seem larger once all of the trees are gone). Or is this another strip center? By the way the new 7-11 on the SE corner is awesome!

Seriously? What all is going on there? I drive by there twice a day, and haven't noticed it! LOL The new 7-11 is awesome, I agree. So convenient for me!

A while back some group was trying to get a baseball field there, not sure if that is what is happening or not.

I noticed yesterday that they now have the land marked and several pieces of construction equipment are present, but do we have official word on what this is going to be?

In the beginning, John Nail of Stone Mill development was going to construct a high end shopping center at that location. I understand more like boutique shops and not the strip mall variety.

    I guess we'll see shortly.

Is it on the NW corner of 10th & Yukon Parkway? If so, I believe that is the 4th phase of Stone Creek....

Is there not a building permit filed somewhere that would indicate what is being built?

I just called the Yukon planning department, as they do not post permits on-line.

The secretary there said they were just doing dirt work and as of yet, have not filed for a building permit.

It is owned by the same people that developed the bordering housing subdivision.

There was an article in the paper stating that John Nail is going to build 40 gated garden style homes here.

Any idea what shops are going to be there?

The foundation and walls are up but no idea what kind of shops are going to be there. My wife asks me probably everyday what is going to be there. Anyone have any news on this?
