Default A question for the lawyers on here

I have a friend that was injured at her job "I was smashed in between two fully loaded meat racks. I even lost my voice for 8 months. I wasnt able to stand up right, or walk for quite awhile. I am walking without my cane, and doing pretty good compared to what I was a year ago. It has been a very slow process." and she was certified by her Dr to be 20% disabled. I think it should be more.....

Her problem is trying to get SSDI and she's applied twice on her own and once through a lawyer, she filed in 2009. She's gone through her 401K and can't afford to keep her lawyer so what are her options? She's a nice lady and has been going through a tough time with this. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

I ain't touching that with a 10-foot pole. She needs to talk to a real live lawyer.

--that said, I can't imagine they'd have much good to say.
