Just picked up a free copy of The Gazette on my way into a local convenience store.

Stood "in line"--for maybe a minute or so--behind a fellow primate, who was considering various lottery ticket purchase options, while I waited to make an actual purchase justifying my visit to this establishment (and my picking up the free copy of The Gazette).

Frankly, I have to wonder what Nim would have made of this situation.
