Default That lengthy pause during the Edmond fireworks display

There was a significant pause not quite midway through the Edmond display, during which one or two salvos were fired in an effort to hold people's attention. I saw UCO personnel, a couple of them, running around. Some time later用erhaps as much as 15 minutes, I didn't count葉he show continued. Any idea what happened?

We were wondering the same thing. We were sitting a couple of blocks away watching and laughed about how there was probably some guys somewhere in a panic, wildly beating on a laptop or flipping switches like a mad scientist.

I texted a friend who is an Edmond police officer and he said, "technical difficulties".

"The fireworks show this year, scheduled to be about half an hour, was actually delayed at one point for seven minutes because of a fire that broke out on the grass underneath the launching point. Although, the show would go on after the employees at Extreme Pyrotechnics extinguished the fire without any injuries."

I see! Wow. Thanks for passing that on. I'm glad no one was hurt.

Someone with UCO was asking if the music had stopped---I guess to pause while they did the fire in.
