  1. Default Thanksgiving Dinner

If you are going out for Thanksgiving dinner this year, where are you going? We are going to the Biltmore Hotel.

I'm not going out this year but have done the Biltmore a few years ago. It's fine with all of the usual fare but nothing exceptional. The wait can be a little long depending on what time you get there.

We are going to the Sheraton in Midwest City. They take reservations, so the wait should not be very long.

We didn't wait at all and the food was pretty good.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. When I at there for Thanksgiving I thought the food was good but I had to wait in a line for about 30 minutes even though I had a reservation. Maybe they have it better organized now.

Schedules and illness left us in Norman this year, just me, my lovely and our youngest son. We enjoyed a totally wonderful buffet ... at home.
As my lovely put it, there's only one way to fix Thanksgiving. We'll be munching the leftovers for a week. YEA!

Maybe its because of my age, but i cant possibly image going to a buffet somewhere for thanksgiving. Even if i was alone there is something to be said about cooking a dinner for yourself on thanksgiving day.

My dad and I went in 2002, the year before I moved to Austin. We went to the Hometown Buffet, my sister was off at her then in-laws in El Paso, it was alright and a nice time for us. Last year we came up there for Thanksgiving and went to Ingrid's for dinner. This year we stayed home (went to the Dallas Cowboys games the few years before) an I smoked a turkey breast.
