Default Local musician featured on Grey's Anatomy

Our list of great musicians at JJ's Alley in Bricktown continues to grow. Saturday night, one of our newer regular performers, Ali Harter, played at JJ's and announced that two of her original songs will be featured on this Thursday (March 4th) episode of Grey's Anatomy. Congratulations Ali !! She will be touring in France for most of March but will be back playing at JJ's April 9th.. As always, Never a cover charge at JJ's. Check out our schedule of other great shows at : MySpace - JJ's Alley Bricktown Pub - 100 - Male - OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma - myspace.com/dspub . Live Acoustic Music 7 nights/week.

I was there on Friday to see Chris play after the Thunder game.

Honestly I was surprised to see it as packed at it was. D's Pub (Oops I mean JJ's) used to be the lovely, smokey dive bar I loved going to, to see Hosty with about a dozen people in there. It's great for the bar it's so popular now, totally pumped about that, but I'm not gonna lie...little disappointed I can't move around in there, get a seat or not wait in line for the bathroom. What a great place. Truly going to be a staple of the local culture before too long if it isn't already.

Friday was one of the busiest nights we have ever had -- more so than New Years or St. Patty's Day, so you normally wont have that kind of crowd to deal with even on weekends. When we do get really busy upstairs, we have the very comfy couches downstairs where you can still see the musician on the big screen video feed. If its smaller crowds your'e looking for, come see us Sunday - Thursday. Hosty plays every other Tuesday (Scott Keeton alternates on the other Tuesdays); Wednesdays is either Jack Rowdy (just released new CD) or two-time Billboard songwriting winner, Chuck Alan Floyd -- It might not be much longer before Chuck gets way to big to see in a venue like JJ's. Thursday nights is a different musician every week.

Hopefully Chuck will eventually be "Living Like a Rock Star in a Honky Tonk Band". And what a great song that is.

I love your little joint, Jeff.
