It burned down last night. What a shame , I have had some great times in that building. Went skating every Friday night. Another nostalgia place gone.

Ok I am blank where was it located?
This place is TOO technical for me!

Probably "Burned" sideways.................Duh....It's not any good anymore.....Skating days are over on Linwood.....That used to be a fun place to go. Just like the old Agnew Skating rink.....They all wanted to fight over there though...When we (the Village Idiot and I) were younger (a lot younger) his mom got mad some older guys for some reason and she dropped us off to skate there...who do you think got the "tail end" of that program.....
It burned over.

yEA!!!!! an unbiased opinion....You go!!!! However, didn't they used to played Hockey or practice or something like that at the Rocket????? I know it was always FULL of Cute Girls.......No Mustaches or anything like that....
I drove by the Rocket last night, it burned down, up, in and out.
This has technically become The Frivolous Banter Thread II
Drove by the Rocket yesterday around noon, there must have been 7--10 pickups with people loading bricks, metal, etc;, wonder if they had permission or just collecting scrap metal to sell.
O/K/, i have a question:.........what were the types of skating that the announcer would announce??? I know they had an organ player at The Rocket Rink but what all would he call out????i.e. "Couples only"....
^^^ You left out the "Hokey Pokey" and the "Fast" skate.
