    Default Sherlock Holmes?

Just saw the new Sherlock Holmes movies. Even though the British accent was kind of hard to follow - the overall movie was good. I'm giving it a 8.5 out of 10. Anyone else see this movie yet?

I saw it some time ago. Its really pretty interesting. I was starting to think.. a scifi.. come on. But of course in all detective style is came together at the end and I was very quite satisfied.

Loved it. It lived up to what I like about Guy Ritchie movies (Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels & Snatch); fast paced and great dialogue and banter.

i seen it, and yes its quite good. of course i was expecting somewhere in the film for sherlock to say "its elementary, watson".

of course if watson was to say "no sh*t, sherlock" anywhere in the film, that would have been hilarious too.

but this film exceeded my expectations because it didnt have any of that campy slapstick humor that they tend to attach to soooo many films today...cough..cough *will smith** cough, cough

robert downey jr. is definitely making a powerful comeback on the big screen now that he's come clean off the drugs.

his performance in sherlock is very good and i feel he will probably be nominated for something. if you like this film you should also check out a film he did about 20 yrs ago called "chaplin".

This was an excellent film I saw it Last weekend in Austin. What a great show great plot long enough to fully develop and then deliver. No awkward places or lulls just well crafted cinema! I would highly recommend it!

One of my top 10 of the year. Extremely entertaining. Ritchie and Downey, Jr. have remade Holmes in the vein of Indiana Jones and James Bond, and it works. But I actually think Jude Law gives the best performance as Watson.
