How do you find out for Allergy!!

How do you find out if you are allergic to something. Can blood tests tell you? I am already allergic to cats, but want to find out if there is something else causing my hay fever.

I had skin tests for various allergens. A tiny amount of the allergen was injected just beneath my skin. Usually an allergic reaction is just a small inflammation of that area or an accompanying rash and other symptoms that are subjectively reported. But I had a serious anaphylactic reaction to grass pollen. So I have an EpiPen I carry around now.

I've also had the skin tests where a drop of the allergen solution is placed on top of the skin which has been previously scratched and marked off in a grid pattern.

I know there are blood tests but I've not had them.

The Oklahoma Allergy and Asthma Clinic is probably the best known around Oklahoma City although I do not have personal experience.

Then food allergies are an entirely separate subject.
