About what I expected...that's not much of an increase...
I absolutely despise newsok.com - it takes about 12 years for their page to download on my work computer and then it's all messed up. Can someone just post the prices please? Thanks.
Hey kmf, did you try the first link on the supersonics.com site? It's flash. Don't know if that will load faster for you or now.
Here is what the NewsOK article says:

Oklahoma City NBA season tickets will be more expensive than Hornet tickets but the majority of tickets will be among the most affordable in the league.
The team announced ticket prices Thursday afternoon. Premium lower level tickets will range from $75 to $250 a game.
Unlike most arenas in the league, the lower level of the 19,275-seat Ford Center also will include 3,500 tickets at $50 per game or less, which is half the seats on that level.
Three-quarters of upper level tickets will cost $20 or less. Named Loud City when the Hornets played two seasons at the Ford Center, the upper level will feature 3,400 seats at $10 a ticket.
“With more than 11,000 seats in the arena at $50 or less, we think the pricing is fair and reasonable for individuals and families to enjoy the world-class entertainment the NBA offers,” said team spokesman Dan Mahoney.
This week the team will begin contacting the 18,000 people who put in season ticket requests. Emails and phone calls are scheduled to begin the next few days. Plans are underway to schedule Ford Center appointments for fans to select their seats beginning Sept. 8.
Fans who called or signed up to join the ticket request list between July 2-18 should begin receiving emails this week informing them of the process, followed by phone calls from sales representatives.
The order in which fans will be contacted, and the assignment of appointment times, has been randomly selected by a computer program.
“We want to provide everyone who registered an equal and random opportunity, depending on availability,” Mahoney said. “The response has been tremendous. We are excited to start communicating to fans this week that the ticket process is off and running.”
The NBA requires teams to make available at least 500 $10 seats per game. Oklahoma City will offer nearly seven times that many $10 tickets.
Seats will be set aside for single game tickets, which will be made available closer to the start of the season. The team will also will offer various multi-game packages and allocate seats for group sales.
The Oklahoma City team launches its inaugural 41 home-game regular season in the Ford Center Oct. 29 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Those $250 seats were $150 for the Hornets right?
Hopefully scalpers don't gobble up all the cheap seats and then resell them at a higher cost.
They can't legally.
They'll do it. Those people piss me off. Get a real job.
I can't really afford many games, but I think the prices are somewhat fair.
So I got an email regarding ticket requests and this is what it said (minus the link to my personal account):
"Thank you for your interest in becoming a Season Ticket Member for the inaugural 2008-09 NBA season in Oklahoma City. By placing your name on the Ticket Request List, you have earned an opportunity to personally review season ticket options for next season.
The next step is for you to participate in an interactive experience to identify desired seating preferences. The website program listed below will guide you through a process of selecting your desired price range and top three seating environments. While specific locations are not guaranteed, this program provides an indication of where you would like to view seating options. Once you have submitted your preferences, an NBA OKC Account Executive will follow up with you to confirm your Select-A-Seat reservation.
Don't wait. Copy and paste the entire link below into your browser to get started.

Additionally, you are invited to participate in the Select-A-Seat event to be held at the Ford Center in early September. When you arrive at your designated appointment time, an NBA OKC representative will reference your seating preferences to guide you through the experience. Below is your assigned appointment date and time:
WHEN: Wednesday, September 10, 2008 12:00PM
Finally, we will follow up with you via email during the first week of September with more detailed information regarding the Select-A-Seat event.

Helpful hint:
You may update your seating preferences at any time. There is a limit of three entries, but changing your preferences is easy.
If you have already submitted three preferences, you will need to eliminate a previous selection before you can add your new entry. After a new selection has been made, enter the desired number of seats in the section you have just selected and click 'Confirm'. You must then click 'Submit' for your information to be updated. It is important to repeat this process each time you want to update your preferences. Failure to 'Confirm' and 'Submit' your new preferences will result in your original selections staying as your top seating choices."
