Default Nonna's Lunch N' Learn series

I was at a luncheon today, and they had a brief announcement about Nonna's. Nonna's is starting a "Lunch N' Learn" series of cooking classes/demonstrations. The first one is on Monday, April 28th at 11:30am-1pm. It is titled "The Thicks and Thins of Gravies and Sauces" (I know sexy title for your first class right?). The chef is Cathryn Hinderliter and Avis Scaramucci will be doing the introduction.

Cost is $30 and includes lunch. Space is limited to 20 guests.

RSVP to Elizabeth Stafford at 235-4410 ext. 230.

I was looking for a thread on Nonna's. Other that this thread, I couldn't find anything. I'm curious to know what other people's experiences were when visiting there? Like the food, service, good experience, bad experience, etc?

I have been to lunch and dinner there many times and have had only good experiences. It's my understanding that Avis grows her own organic produce and herbs (?) and she is a very hands-on owner.

It shows in the food prep, plating and staffing that I have enjoyed the meals. It is nice to go to a locally owned restaurant, IMO.

I really like the Oklahoma Cobb Salad which is certainly big enough for two in my opinion. I've always had really excellent food and superior service. It is one of my favorite places.

I found these really old posts but not so helpful:
