    This is great news for OKC. Dave Matthews Band is coming to the Bricktown Ballpark this summer.

    The Oklahoma RedHawks have announced that one of the top selling recording artists of all time, Dave Matthews Band, will perform live at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark August 13th at 7 p.m. Individual tickets go on sale beginning March 29th.
    "This concert is another example of how the ballpark continues to be utilized as a great outdoor venue for events like Dave Matthews Band." said Scott Pruitt, RedHawks co-owner and general managing partner, "The RedHawks are pleased to bring a concert of this magnitude to Oklahoma City as well as to our loyal season ticket holders."

    Since entering the music scene with its debut album Remember Two Things in 1993, the Grammy-winning recording artist, Dave Matthews Band, has made a name for itself as one of the most popular bands in the world. The group has sold millions of albums including, Under the Table and Dreaming, Crash, Before These Crowded Streets, Everyday and Busted Stuff.

    Since taking over team ownership in 2004, Bob Funk and Scott Pruitt continue to bring major concerts to AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. Two concerts including Dave Matthews Band are already scheduled for 2008. For more information on tickets or becoming a RedHawks season ticket holder please contact the ticket office at 405-218-1000. The expected capacity for the event is 18,000 with approximately 8,000 being on the field. Prices are as follows:

    General Admission Field: $65 (+ applicable fees)
    100 Level & Club Seats: $65 (+ applicable fees)
    200 Level: $55 (+ applicable fees)

    it's so big we need a 3rd thread about DMB! (just messin with you... there's already 2 other threads about this)

    but yeah, it's a big name for the Brick to get... i think it'd be a better show at the Zoo actually - i'm not a big fan of the sound quality at the ballpark, at least at the Dylan/Willie show a few years back... it seemed to echo a little bit off the press box and the upper deck...

    DMB puts on a good show - seen them 5 times and they didn't disappoint me any of them...

    the 8000 on the field is a little surprising... are they going to move the stage back in the outfield and let people on the infield? they didn't at Dylan - there were only about 2000 on the field for that one...

    Thanks for correcting me, I deserve that. I did a search, and didn't find a thread. I now see one other DMB thread. Maybe because I searched for Dave Matthews Band instead of Dave Matthews the other thread is titled? Anyhow, mods feel free to delete or merge my post.
