Northwest OKC 2304 N May Avenue (Formerly Kelly Moore Paint)

The old Kelly Moore Paints on the NE corner of NW 23rd and May had the sign taken down and work is going on.

Not sure what it will turn into, but hope it's not another dispensary or something like that.

The property hasn't sold and I can't find any permits.

Kelly Moore in Norman recently rebranded (?) to HIS Paint. Maybe the same thing there?

Maybe, but would they be clearing everything out from the inside? There is not much left in there. I would think a rebrand would just be new signage and not a full clean out.

I think Kelly-Moore ceased operations early this year and HIS bought some portions of the overall business. HIS has become a growing paint manufacturing company the last 10-15 years. Their headquarters on Reno, near Pennsylvania, isn't really set up to have a retail sales outlet attached, and it might be an attempt to clean up an existing retail store and sell HIS more easily to the DIY market.

Drove by this morning and noticed a temporary looking banner with the Sherwin-Williams paint logo that was placed on the front awning.

The big sherwin Williams sign is going up now.

Pete, you might verify on your end, but it looks like the building is going to house two businesses. I say that because they are opening up part of the wall to the north of the SW entrance and there is a wall up inside the building.
