No disrespect to The Killer, but Rock 'n' Roll was around - at least in some form - for quite a few years before '58. Jackie Brenston/Ike Turner, Little Richard, or even Bob Wills or (much earlier) Charley Patton can make more legitimate claims to being "how it started."
