I'm surprised that this hasn't already been mentioned here by now. We have lost a genius, in my opinion. He operated mostly behind the scenes but I first became aware of him during his years with Elaine May. They were hilarious.

The last sketch shown here shows where he got the idea, while directing "The Graduate", to have Benjamin kiss Mrs. Robinson while she was smoking.
