KAUT - Cool Branding

You know, so many times when a local station tries to play to our state's heritage it comes off being, well... really corny and sappy.

Not so with KAUT 43. I really like the image they have created for themselves. Amidst a sea of science fiction shows on Sunday night their western-themed station identification and advertising is quite eclectic. I like how they manage to pull off the western stuff in a cool way, paying a little bit of homage to our state's heritage but not getting too cheesy. I also think it's cool that they do a spotlight on a community or an event very briefly and say something positive about Oklahoma. I'm sure it's a very fine line coming up with good stuff like this... I just thought I'd say I appreciate it.
